At Banter, a 10 figure jewelry brand that gets most of it's revenue from brick and mortar retail, Shane was in charge of growing the DTC website side of the business. After seeing how much of the ad strategy was using outdated tactics, Shane implemented a much more modern and "performance first" approach to all the Paid ad channels. This included pushing more budget allocation to conversion optimized campaigns, creating 50+ ad variations and hook tests per month to better inform the creative team and future creative iterations, and working with the executive team to get buy-in on other incremental performance priority tactics. This shift in executive strategy, implementation of more modern media buying tactics, as well as the addition of robust creative variation creation and testing, resulting in 280% better website ROAS while keeping spend flat YoY. The website as a whole saw a 190% growth in sales YoY while ad spend stayed flat.

While running Paid Social and Paid Search strategy for Koala Eco, Shane was able to help guide the brand to exceed it's already aggressive annual growth expectations by 15.55%, and set multiple new record setting months for the brand coming off a stagnant year of growth. This was accomplished by more granular and intentional ad management, improved ad account structure, and healthier business targets going off of Contribution Margin and Customer Acquisition Cost instead of a blended ROAS like they were doing previously. With more informed and sophisticated growth targets, we had confidence scaling behind campaigns and areas that were having the highest impact on the business, and also confidence in spending more ad dollars than the brand had been comfortable spending before. After one year of managing their paid ads and growth, they saw 61% growth in their home Australian market, and 143% growth in their higher ceiling market of the US, all while finishing with higher in platform ROAS as well.
