At Tall Size, a Shopify-based marketplace serving tall women, Madison joined as the first full-time Head of Merchandising & Brand Partnerships.

She developed a structured vendor acquisition and onboarding strategy inclusive of initial brand identification, outreach, and negotiation, and expanded the brand portfolio by 53% in six months. Madison improved profitability, refined assortment architecture, and implemented clear reporting to drive clearer decision-making across the business. 

By combining disciplined assortment analysis with customer-led merchandising strategy, she helped transform the business. Within one year, the business achieved +94% year-over-year sales growth and +63% order growth, strengthening both revenue and customer engagement.

At Stitch Fix, I led the $165M Women’s Plus division, overseeing 150+ brands and 5,000+ styles annually. In a market with historically limited, fragmented options, I conducted a comprehensive productivity audit across sell-through, return rates, end-use penetration, and pricing architecture to identify structural assortment gaps relative to both our core business and the competitive landscape.

I rebalanced the assortment toward high-velocity core categories, expanded into Plus Active and Maternity, and negotiated contemporary brand partnerships to modernize the offering. In close partnership with Data Science, Product Development, Technical Design, and Styling, I refined fit attribution and reduced return friction.

The result: improved inventory productivity, increased client retention, and +42% revenue growth — positioning the division for sustained, profitable growth.
