At Bokksu, a high-growth Japanese snack subscription brand, Louis served as Chief Marketing Officer and helped lead the company through a period of incredible DTC growth.

Tasked with expanding customer acquisition while improving profitability, he restructured the brand’s full-funnel strategy, optimized paid media across channels, and introduced new creative testing cadences to improve ROAS. Louis also built out an in-house lifecycle marketing team, launching personalized flows and campaigns that lifted email revenue quarter-over-quarter.

Beyond performance marketing, Louis oversaw brand refresh efforts that elevated Bokksu’s positioning from “snack box” to “premium cultural experience,” unlocking new customer segments and partnership opportunities.

Under his leadership, the company saw record revenue, improved retention, and a reduction in CAC, while also being featured in publications like The New York Times, Forbes, and Buzzfeed.

At Fable Pets, an innovative direct-to-consumer pet lifestyle brand, Louis served as Chief Marketing Officer, where he helped transform the company from a niche player into a high-growth DTC leader.

Tasked with accelerating customer acquisition while maintaining premium brand positioning, Louis restructured the marketing org, integrated performance and creative teams, and introduced a new media mix model that improved efficiency across paid channels.

He led the development of Fable’s first ever omnichannel growth roadmap, overseeing the launch of Amazon and Chewy as new revenue channels. Simultaneously, Louis partnered closely with the founders on product positioning, customer segmentation, and LTV optimization. Within 6 months, Louis increased new customer acquisition, reduced CAC, and grew returning customer revenue through an upgraded lifecycle and retention program.

Louis also spearheaded the brand’s entry into physical retail, initiating partnerships with top-tier pet and lifestyle stores, and increased the brand’s earned media visibility with creative campaigns featured in Vogue, Architectural Digest, and Fast Company. His efforts helped position Fable for long-term scale, both online and off.

At Always for Me, one of the first plus-size swim and activewear brands in the U.S., Louis was brought in by the private-equity owners to reposition and relaunch the brand for a new generation of digitally native shoppers. The company had a strong legacy in catalog and early e-commerce but needed a modernized approach to remain competitive and culturally relevant.

Louis led a full brand refresh, including visual identity, product assortment, and customer experience. He revamped the site UX with a focus on fit guidance and inclusive visuals, and brought in a new creative direction centered around confidence, joy, and real customer stories.

On the growth side, Louis implemented a full-funnel paid media strategy across Meta, Google, and affiliate channels, optimizing performance while building long-term brand equity. He also launched a new influencer program that prioritized micro and mid-tier creators with authentic connections to their audiences, driving both conversion and UGC.

Always for Me became a case study in how heritage DTC brands can modernize without losing their core customer, proving that inclusivity and performance marketing can go hand in hand.
