Mission: Dreamday enlisted media relations expert Ginally Applebaum to develop and lead strategic PR efforts for their client selfmade– an emerging skincare brand pioneering psychodermatology– with the mission to garner earned media in the very saturated skincare market.

Challenges: - Reinvigorating media interest 2 years after the brand launched- Educating media on psychodermatology: - what it is - its importance in skincare and to emotional wellbeing - why they (and in turn the consumer), should care.

Approach: selfmade is a turnkey wellness brand. - Positioning the brand’s mission beyond products in a digestible format– highlighting community-powered culture (developed with BIPOC mental health experts and a GenZ Junior Advisory Board), founder’s rich background story (AAPI heritage, career and mental health journey), etc.– to demonstrate a larger, yet evergreen story that solidified selfmade as a category disruptor in skincare.

Mission: Diggs, a premium pet utility and lifestyle brand, employed GAPR to implement a communications campaign that would increase press presence, brand awareness, and generate revenue.

Challenges: Despite the incredible quality, strong brand positioning, and large major retail presence, Diggs had gone through four PR agencies and a separate affiliate marketing agency, all of which delivered little to no results. With several new product launches planned for the new year, a communications strategy was imperative for the brand in a niche space (pets) with smaller press opportunities.
