Laird Superfood is a functional mushroom nutrition brand started by surfer Laird Hamilton and his wife, Gabby. Over the years, they've become the face of the brand, so consumers know their names and they almost have a cult following. Laird Superfood's team came to Emylee looking for ads that moved them away from constantly showing the founder's faces, so eventually they could find what wins for them in a different sense. Emylee took a sensible but out-of-the-box approach, incorporating concepts like skits and social proof ads. Upon testing, we found that their audience resonates greatly with social proof, review-focused creative, and specific benefit list-offs. This set the standard for creative going forward that did not involve Laird and Gabby as the face of the ads.

Volley Games hired Emylee to create UGC videos that put more eyes on their branded games for Roku TV like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. They were seeing success with whitelisted TikToks, so this is what was tested. Upon posting the videos, one quickly gained over 16M views with incredible engagement on a campaign that allocated ad budget based on performance. Over 1/3rd of the brand's ad budget was spent on Emylee's campaign, showing her ability to create fun content that resonates and converts.
