From its start with a single modular sofa design, Burrow has grown into a one-stop shop for functional, stylish furniture for every room in the home, and the outdoors. Cole shepherded the brand from the narrow, focused beginnings into a brand for the whole home, creating an recognizable visual identity, naming system, product stories, and the entire marketing rollout for dozens of new products.

I delivered a modern refresh that drew inspiration from historical botany textbooks, the age of exploration, and of course, the colors and textures of the Amazon rainforest. It's a sophisticated and elegant brand system with a healthy dose of diversity and dynamism; we certainly did not feel that a standard minimalist look was appropriate for such a vivacious brand. It's all wrapped under their new tagline: "A new understanding of natural beauty," which represents both their bold vision of the future and their reverence toward the past.

Manhattan's coolest barbershop needed a brand identity. I created a logo that references the iconic skybridge, echoing the seven window panels on the actual structure in the graphic mark. I paired it with a bold type, Pragmatica Extended Black, which lent itself to numerous dynamic lock-ups, so that the branding could flex into any size or shape necessary, from the wide glass windows to the tall and narrow blade sign. I carried the type from the logo into the web design, using the same font for the headlines, but reverting to the ever-legible Inter for body text. For color, I kept things similarly simple and bold: a taxi-inspired yellow and a dark asphalt gray. Where they needed a light neutral, I used a warm light gray.
