At PetFriendly we had a third-party agency create a headless Shopify ecosystem for our brand, however the CMS was cumbersome, hard to manage and expensive. Over the course of a month our internal team identified a much better CMS (builder.io) that would empower our marketing team to create custom PDPs, PLPs and more, all while being able to offer A/B testing - and most importantly integrate with Shopify and our other tools (such as Klaviyo, Recharge and more).

Over the next two months our team of developers, led by myself, was able to deliver the new site ahead of schedule and deliver on the objectives outlined all while cutting hosting and platform fees by over 50%.

A brand within the D2C space needed a simple dashboard to monitor its daily activity, titled the GMR (growth metrics report). The daily (and intraday refreshed) report helped marketing team members and company leaders see in nearly real-time the CAC, Meta Spend and Google spend and how it was impacting the bottom line. This helped teams make ad spend decisions quickly and efficiently.

The dashboard I crafted was built on Google BigQuery, pulling in data from multiple sources, including Meta Ads, Google Ads, Shopify and Recharge. To make it simple for end users to access I leverage the Google Sheets connector, making the dashboard accessible on mobile devices and computers alike.
